Roll Of Honour
Welcome to the Roll of Honour for SASA Midland District
The purpose of the Roll of Honour is to acknowledge the sporting achievements of past and present athletes within the Midland District. It also gives us all an opportunity to look back and to reflect on the great athletes this District has produced.

Anyone can nominate an athlete to be included within the  Roll of Honour, provided that the athlete meets the criteria below.

  Criteria

All nominees must have been a member of a SASA Midland District club/clubs at the time of their achievement.

Nominated athletes in the disciplines of Swimming, Water Polo, Open Water Swimming & Diving should have been:-

1)      selected and competed at an Olympic Games/Paralympic Games, or

2)      selected and competed at a World championships/IPC World Championships, or

3)      selected and medaled at a  European Championships/IPC European Championships , or

4)      selected and medaled at a Commonwealth Games.

All nominations require the approval of Midland District Executive prior to acceptance and publication within the Roll of Honour  The nomination form can be found HERE.  

Note:- It is the intention to ultimately extend the Roll of Honour into additional categories (other than athletes), however, the primary starting point for the creation of the Roll of Honour, is athletes only.
